Benevolent Fists of Wichita Kung Fu School offers Qi Xing Tang Lang Chuan, or Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu. Our training and style are traditional, but WKF makes use of modern training methods as well in order to keep alive the martial applications earned by our forebearers through suffering and endurance.
Star Praying Mantis is a northern style of Chinese Kung Fu. It was created out of eighteen other styles by Wang Lang around 1644 AD. As such it is an eclectic and complete style, much as JKD strives to be today.
